Surprise 25bps rate cut by BNM may indicate short-mid term easing policy. Interest rate environment is expected to remain low.
The Bursa REIT index was ascending since early 2019 in tandem with declining trend in 10Y MY Gov Yield. The index started its decline from Aug 2019 whereby the bond yield started to rise. With the rates continue to trend lower, would we see some potential upside in the REITs?
